Baked here,
this morning.
The King St. Cafe is a small batch bakery on King Street. Cakes, scones, cheesecakes and cupcakes made in our own kitchen, proper coffee, and a room worth sitting in.
A bakery first. A cafe second.
The case changes with what came out of the oven that morning, so it is never quite the same twice. Come early for the best of it.

From the case
Squares, macarons, cupcakes, cheesecakes, scones, tarts, turnovers and brownies. Whatever was baked this morning, priced from about two dollars.

Coffee and the rest
Espresso drinks, drip, teas and smoothies, plus soups, sandwiches and bagels baked in our kitchen. Enough for a proper lunch, not just a coffee.

Cakes for the occasion
Birthdays, showers, weddings and the days that just need a cake. Tell us what you are imagining and we will build it.

A 1912 lodge,
still in use.
The cafe sits in Harrow's old Oddfellows hall, built between 1912 and 1916. We kept what was worth keeping and filled the rest with plants, good light and somewhere to actually sit down.
Lisa and Marta.
Lisa Rundle baked out of her own kitchen for the better part of ten years before this. Marta Leardi-Anderson owns the building and talked her into filling it. They opened the doors in April 2024 and have been baking since half five most mornings.

24 King Street West.
On the main street in Harrow, a few doors along from the corner. Takeout if you are in a hurry, a table if you are not.
